39 percent of applicants to Methodist College were admitted for fall 2018

At Methodist College, 53 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 88 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Peoria enrolled 692 students in fall 2018, including 687 in undergraduate and five in graduate programs, data shows. 21.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Black or African American (12 percent).

The school admitted 39 percent of the 74 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 59 percent enrolled.
