Illinois State Senate District 47 issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.
Action on an issue as important as ethics should not wait.
We need to convene a special legislative session, where we take a closer look at everyone’s ideas about ethics reforms – Republican and Democrat!
This should not be a partisan issue!
