The second half of 2020: Home prices in El Paso increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in El Paso rose by $22,000 while total sales increased by 62.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 47 homes sold, with a median sale price of $127,000 - a 21% increase over the $105,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in El Paso in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in El Paso for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,607, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
