Event Name: Kayaking 101

Time: 3:00pm-4:00pm
Get ready for the HLC Canoe/Kayak Jaunt—or any summertime paddling—with kayak instructor Kathy Jones. Learn safety & basics, along with tips on what to wear, how to get in and out of a kayak and hold a paddle, places to go for your first experiences on the water, and where you can get more training. This program will take place in the library parking lot, so please bring a lawn chair.
