Nursing Program Success at Bradley

20

Bradley University issued the following announcement on Aug. 5

Bradley University’s nursing program received the highest marks possible from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education’s (CCNE) accreditation process. The program earned the maximum time frame for program accreditation, meaning Bradley's baccalaureate, master's, doctorate and post-graduate certificate nursing programs are all re-accredited for the next 10 years.

Jessica Clark, a nursing professor and the dean of Bradley's College of Education and Health Sciences, said, “A successful accreditation undergirds a strong curriculum and heralds for everyone what we, at Bradley University, have long known and worked so hard to achieve: Bradley nursing provides transformational educational opportunities in each and every academic program we offer. Our faculty, students and staff epitomize excellence, while our program outcomes for residential undergraduates and online graduates demonstrate this every day."

With this accreditation, Bradley will continue helping students build their skills into a rewarding career of helping others for years to come. From day one, students receive hands-on experiences in the classroom from leaders in the nursing industry. They also have access to real-world experiences in the field with opportunities for internships and clinicals.

In addition to the recent accreditation news, Bradley's family nurse practitioner (FNP) program was ranked among the top programs in Illinois this week.

NursingProcess.org stated, "Whether you are an ADN prepared registered nurse or an MSN graduate aspiring a career as a family care provider, Bradley University offers one of the best FNP programs in Illinois with several pathways to help students meet their individual academic needs. With a 100% online coursework and the flexibility to complete clinicals in your community, you easily accommodate FNP classes into your busy life schedule."

Some media in Bradley University's current print, video and online materials was acquired before the COVID-19 pandemic. Media acquired after the pandemic began was done so in compliance with Bradley's COVID-19 safety protocols at the time. The ongoing safety of our faculty, staff and students is of the utmost concern during these unprecedented times.
