Report: Lowpoint Washburn School District spent $12,393 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lowpoint Washburn Community Unit School District 21 was up 8.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Woodford County school district spent $11,414 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,393 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 358 to 340 students over the same period.

Lowpoint Washburn's spending in 2019-20 was 14.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
