Village of Benson Board of Trustees met Nov. 15.

Called to order by Mayor Chris Mullins
Roll Call- All present
Nate Waldschmidt made motion to approve minutes, seconded by Jerimiah Samuelson.
Neil Heineke made motion to approve bills, seconded by Nate Waldschmidt.
Julie Wolf made motion to approve treasurer report, seconded by Josh Brown.
The Ambulance contract with Minonk is signed.
Brian Wolf checked the bulbs for the Christmas lights. New bulbs have been ordered to change out non-working bulbs.
Heineke Electric will hang up the Christmas lights on the poles on Saturday November 27th starting at 8am.
Received the results from the 2020 Census and Benson has 412 residents.
Discussed the ARPA grant, at this time we have $ 27,800 to use. Asked the Board members to think of projects that need to be fixed in town. Bring ideas to next meeting.
December 11th is our Annual Christmas Parade and Christmas Sing-a-longwill be uptown on Main Street and the Legion.
The board will purchase candy and fruit to fill 125 goodie bags for the kids, for the Christmas Sing-a-long.
