On Nov. 4, Kevin Alwood purchased a four bedroom home at 315 W. Chestnut, Canton from Gina Ball Simmons (formerly known as) for $90,000.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2020 was $1,745.50, 1.94% of the sale price of the home.

So far in November 2021, four properties sold in Canton.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Gina B. Ball has been registered to vote since 1996 and has voted in at least two primary elections, records show, including one Democratic Primary and one Republican Primary.

The Illinois State Board of Elections data shows that there were four registered voters residing at 315 W. Chestnut as of Oct. 10, 2020: Sydney A. Simmons, 24, Gina B. Ball, 58, Gary L. Ball, 56, and Jacob A. Ball, 31.
