Sweet Celebration Highlights Launch of Basketball Ticket Sales

Two members of the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2022 will be honored during the Bradley Basketball doubleheader Nov. 19 at Carver Arena, highlighting game-day promotions that are in the works for the 2022-23 Braves Men's Basketball season.

While season-ticket sales continue, Bradley Men's Basketball single-game and mini-plan ticket options now are available for purchase for the full 17-game slate at the Peoria Civic Center's Carver Arena.  The major, early-season promotion falls on Saturday, Nov. 19, when the 2005-06 Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 squad will join Women's Golfer Bari Erais for enshrinement in the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame.

Bradley Athletics will entertain a full day of activity Nov. 19 at the Peoria Civic Center, beginning with a Women's Basketball game versus McNeese State at noon inside Carver Arena.  One ticket will provide entry for both the Women's game and the 3 p.m. Men's Basketball contest against Southeast Missouri State.  Erais will be joined by former Bradley Men's Basketball head coach Jim Les and his full team of 2005-06 student-athletes, coaches and support staff on the Carver Arena court for the halftime Hall of Fame ceremonies.

Following the on-court action, the Bradley Braves Club will host a special Hall of Fame banquet, presented by Busey Bank, at the Peoria Civic Center's fourth-floor banquet facility, beginning with a cocktail hour that will precede the 6 o'clock dinner program to spotlight Erais and the 2005-06 Men's Basketball squad.  Banquet tickets are $50 and may be purchased online through BradleyBraves.com or through the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office.

The Hall of Fame Class of 2022 ceremonies complete a full-circle celebration of the 2005-06 season, which began with a season-opening, 75-60 win Nov. 19, 2005 at DePaul and was celebrated with a special postseason banquet in the Peoria Civic Center exhibit hall after the Braves advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 for the first time since 1955.

In addition to the Class of 2022 celebration Nov. 19, the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023 will be enshrined during halftime ceremonies of the Feb. 11 Men's Basketball game versus Murray State.  The Feb. 11 ceremonies will include 2022 honoree Joe Donoho, the 2007 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Year.

While the bulk of the promotions schedule is being developed, Bradley Athletics will provide several complimentary ticket opportunities to various groups throughout the 2022-23 school year, including the opportunity for all fans ages 10 and under to receive a free ticket for the Dec. 31 Men's Basketball game versus UIC as part of the Peoria Civic Center's New Year's Eve celebration.

In addition, RE/MAX Traders Unlimited is sponsoring Bradley's Educators Appreciation Games, providing one complimentary ticket to all early childhood, primary and secondary education teachers and staff for all Saturday and Sunday Bradley Athletics regular-season home events; and Komatsu is sponsoring Bradley's First Responders Appreciation Games, providing one complimentary ticket to all first responders for the first regular-season home game of each month.  Bradley also is supporting a slate of Military Appreciation Games, offering one complimentary ticket to active members of the military for selected regular-season home games linked to significant dates on the US military calendar; and Molly Maid once again is sponsoring the Court Crew program for all Men's and Women's Basketball home games this season, allowing children in grades 5-8 the opportunity to join the event management team while their guardians enjoy a complimentary ticket to the game.
