City of Peoria Public Building Commission met July 28.

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

The regular meeting of the board of Commissioners of the Public Building Commission of Peoria was via Zoom per Covid-19 executive order No. 5- Section 6

The following Commissioners were present via Zoom:

J. Goldstein K. Casper D. Leitch D. Laukitis S. Sorrel C. Thomas

Commissioners present in office: B. Meginnes

Attorney Chris Jump present via zoom

There being a quorum present, the meeting was called to order by Chairman J. Goldstein at 10:00 A.M.

Minutes of the meeting for June 23, 2022, had been distributed to the Commissioners prior to the meeting. Mr. Sorrell made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Mr. Meginnes and carried with 5 Ayes and 0 Nays.

Mr. Thomas & Mr. Leitch joined the meeting.

Mr. Casper presented the Financial Report for June 30, 2022. A motion to approve the Report as presented made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mr. Casper, and carried with 7 Ayes and 0 Nays.

Mr. Casper presented the Investment Report as of June 30, 2022. A motion to approve the Report as presented made by Mr. Casper, seconded by Mr. Thomas, and carried with 7 Ayes and 0 Nays.

July invoices relative to Peoria Public Schools & General Administrative Expenditures presented for approval by Mr. Casper. A motion to approve payment for the invoices as presented made by Mr. Casper, seconded by Mr. Thomas, and carried with 7 Ayes and 0 Nays

Mr. Kinney presented the concrete bid from Illinois Civil Contractors for the Harrison project. A motion to approve the bid as presented made by Mr. Casper, seconded by Mr. Thomas, and carried with 7 Ayes and 0 Nays.

Mr. Kinney presented the light control panel quote from Crescent Electric Supply for the Harrison project. A motion to approve the bid as presented made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mr. Meginnes, and carried with 7 Ayes and 0 Nays.

There being no other business a motion to adjourn made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mr. Laukitis, and carried with 7 Ayes and 0 Nays.
