Peoria County Consolidated Election Day is two weeks away, on April 4

Peoria County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 72 candidates will compete for 21 municipal offices, including zero contests for city and village, zero for park, fire and library boards and 21 for school boards.

There are no voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last Peoria County Consolidated Election, it had 123,600 registered voters and 21,603 cast ballots, or 17.48 percent.

In the 2019 Peoria County Consolidated Election, it had 119,744 registered voters and 18,181 cast ballots, or 15.18 percent.
