Join the City and our Planning & Zoning department for a public meeting and presentation about the benefit of trees in community infrastructure.
Guest speakers from Morton Arboretum will give a presentation about the economic benefit of trees, impact of trees on our environment, and how trees improve our health and make our lives better. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.Waukegan is creating a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to modernize our codes and ordinances, including changes to off-street parking, landscaping, tree preservation, and more.
