The National Weather Service Office in Lincoln, Illinois has announced that temperatures will be below normal next week with single-digit temperatures throughout our region.
Warming stations are available at the Police Department Lobby and Fire Stations throughout Peoria.
• Peoria Police Department Lobby, 600 SW Adams Street, Open Monday-Friday from 9 AM- 5 PM
• All Peoria Fire Department locations also serve as warming locations from 7 AM- 7 PM. Please note that since these locations are Fire Stations, any persons using the station may have to leave during an active call.
The City wants to remind community members of the Heart of Illinois United Way 2-1-1 service.
People can call 2-1-1 (or 309-999-4029) for support and assistance in a variety of categories.
