Sidewalk work continues this week at the intersections of Harrison Street, Liberty Street, Fulton Street, Main Street, and Hamilton Boulevard along SW Adams Street. As stated by the project update, sidewalks near 332, 300, 200, and 100 SW Adams Street, and 200 NE Adams Street are closed. Pedestrians are advised to use caution near these closures and cross the street at the next available intersection.

In addition, median removal work is ongoing this week on N William Kumpf Boulevard near the intersection of SW Jefferson Avenue. Drivers are reminded to be aware of lane restrictions in the area. The project emphasizes the importance of drivers being mindful of workers in the area and observing no parking areas. Lane and parking restrictions along SW Adams Street are still in effect, with on-street parking restrictions clearly marked. Drivers are instructed to look for unbagged, available parking meters for on-street parking and to avoid parking in spots that are bagged with "No Parking" signs.

The Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way (OWTW) Conversion Project will see additional parking, lane, and sidewalk restrictions in the future. Project officials urge drivers to exercise extra caution in the area as the project progresses.
