Beginning at 7 am on Monday, Sept. 9, traffic patterns will shift on SW Adams Street. The shift is necessary for sidewalk work as part of the Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue OWTW Conversion Project.
The four driving lanes on Adams Street will be restricted to the middle two lanes from N William Kumpf to Hamilton Boulevard. The two outside lanes will be closed to traffic. The Adams Street left turn lane to N William Kumpf will be closed. Left turns will be allowed from the driving lane.
On-street parking along Adams Street will still be available. Drivers should look for unbagged, available parking meters for on-street parking. If parking meters are bagged with “No Parking” signs, drivers should not park at those spots. Parking at bagged parking meters will result in a ticket and vehicle removal at the owner’s expense.
Drivers should be aware of this traffic pattern shift and use an overabundance of caution in the area.
