Monroe Street will be closed from Fulton Street to N. William Kumpf Boulevard on October 1 and October 2 due to Career Spark. The closure will begin at 10 a.m. and last until 3 p.m. each day.
Career Spark is sponsored by the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council and Junior Achievement of Central Illinois.
Drivers are advised to follow all posted detour routes and exercise caution in the area.
For northbound traffic on N. William Kumpf Boulevard, the detour route will be N.E. Perry Avenue. Southbound traffic should use S.W. Adams Street.
