Public Works crews have been engaged in efforts to treat and clear the city's main arterial streets since Friday, January 10. Following snowfall over the weekend, their focus was directed towards primary roads and emergency snow routes.
Today marks the beginning of operations in residential areas, where crews will start clearing and treating neighborhood streets. This action is initiated once two inches of snow have accumulated and the snowfall has ceased.
Residents are advised to maintain a safe distance between their vehicles and plow trucks as crews work on residential streets. Additionally, caution is urged while driving due to road conditions.
