On June 20, 2025, Erianah D. King, a 19-year-old resident of Peoria, Illinois, was charged with armed robbery following an incident at the Lexington Hills Apartment Complex. Authorities have filed a petition to detain King, which will be reviewed by a judge on Monday.

The incident occurred around midnight on Sunday when police were called to the intersection of Forrest Hill and Molleck in response to an armed robbery report. The victim informed officers that he had gone to the apartment complex with a friend to purchase a vehicle he found listed on Facebook. Upon meeting the seller, identified as a woman, she demanded payment upfront. When the victim refused, she allegedly brandished a gun and took $600 from him.

The victim later identified the suspect through her Facebook profile used for setting up the sale and confirmed her identity in a photo lineup as Erianah D. King.

King was apprehended on Wednesday. During a search of her residence, law enforcement recovered a firearm.

The investigation remains active. Anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact the Peoria Police Department at 309-673-4521.
