Walk ALS Peoria scheduled for Sept. 6 with route starting at Dozer Park

The 2025 Walk ALS Peoria is set to take place on Saturday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in downtown Peoria. The event is organized by ALS United Greater Chicago.

Participants will walk along sidewalks, crosswalks, and the Riverfront Trail without any street closures. The route starts and ends at Dozer Park, located at 730 S.W. Jefferson Ave.

Organizers advise drivers to be aware of walkers and exercise caution when traveling through the downtown area during the event.
