The City of Peoria Department of Public Works has scheduled an open house to discuss updates to the city's Bike Master Plan. The event is set for Wednesday, September 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at GAR Hall, located at 416 Hamilton Blvd.
The open house aims to give residents a chance to review and comment on the draft plan for Peoria's future bike network. According to city officials, community feedback will help guide decisions about where and when investments in bike infrastructure upgrades are made.
Attendees will also be able to see a temporary demonstration of a biking improvement on Hamilton Boulevard in front of GAR Hall. The event does not include a formal presentation, and participants may come and go during the two-hour window. Light refreshments will be available.
