Property owners in Peoria County paid 2.1% of the value of their homes in property taxes in the second quarter of 2025, which is more than 1.9 times the national average, according to the real estate analysis posted by Peoria Standard.
In May, the median sale price of a home in Peoria County rose by $7,500 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales decreased by 9.7%.
