The Chillicothe Public Library District Board met May 23.
The Chillicothe Public Library District Board oversees all library operations. Regular board meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month in the library meeting room, 430 N. Bradley.
Here are the minutes of the May 23 meeting as provided by the Chillicothe Public Library District:
1. Call to order at 5:33 p.m present: Sue Mowbray, Jane Harrison, Jay Rudd, Patty Pierson, Patty Audo, and Ben Krokum. Judy Thornton absent.
2. Public Comment: Thank you letters forwarded to the library.
3. Secretary’s report: motion to accept by Patty Audo and seconded by Patty Pierson. All voted in favor.
4. Treasurer’s report: motion to accept by Patty Pierson with Jay Rudd seconding. All voted in favor.

a. FY2017 FOIA Policy: Patty Audo made motion to approve with Jane Harrison seconding. All voted in favor.
b. Ordinance 2016-c-1 Prevailing Wage: Patty Audo made motion to approve with Patty Pierson seconding. All voted in favor.
c. Parking lot maintenance: Jane Harrison moved to approve with Patty Audo seconding. All voted in favor.
d. Masonry maintenance: Jay Rudd moved to approve with Patty Pierson seconding. All voted in favor.
7. Board Concerns: None.
8. Announcements: June meeting moved to 6/20/16 to maintain quorum.
9. Adjournment: 6:00 p.m. motion made by Jay Rudd and seconded by Patty Pierson.
