Akron-Princeville Fire Protection District responded to six calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the Peoria Standard.

The calls in Akron-Princeville included two fires - one structure fire and one vehicle fire.

In all, the department saw $15,000 in fire loss - or about $7,500 per fire.

The department also received four false calls, including one malicious call and 3 other false calls.
