A regular meeting of the Canton Fire and Police Commission was held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. The meeting was called to order at 1:09 p.m. by Commissioner Mayall.
Present: Commissioner Chad Mayall
Commissioner Greg Gossett
Absent: Commissioner Samantha Norton
Public Safety Director Dick Fairburn
Public Participation- none
A Motion was made by Commissioner Gossett seconded by Commissioner Mayall to accept the minutes of the December 12, 2017 regular meeting. All Ayes, motion carried.
A Motion was made by Commissioner Gossett seconded by Commissioner Mayall to accept the December budget. All Ayes, motion carried.
Training certificates: None
Old Business –
Probationary Employees: No report.
Bills: No bills.
Testing Cycles:
With completion of the PD Initial, there will be no more testing to conduct until 2018.
New Business : There was no new business.
Having no other business, a Motion was made by Commissioner Gossett seconded by Commissioner Mayall to adjourn the meeting. All Ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 1:10 p.m.
