City of Peoria Planning & Zoning Commission will meet on April 5.

Here is the agenda as provided by the commission:

    Deliberations will be held at the end of each case after public comment has been closed. No public                          comment is allowed during deliberations.

    CASE NO.      Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of 

     PZ 18-11        Marsha N Romain to obtain a Special Use in a Class R-6 (Multi-Family Residential) District   

                            for a School for the Arts for the property identified as Parcel Identification No. 18-03-310-

                            015,  with an address of 919 NE Jefferson Avenue, Peoria IL (Council District 1)

   CASE NO.      Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of John 

    PZ 18-12        E Wetzel to rezone property from a Class R-4 (Single Family Residential) District to a Class I-

                           2 (Railroad/Warehouse Industrial) District for the property identified as Parcel Identification 

                           No. 18-03-206-013, with an address of 1824 NE Monroe Street, Peoria, IL (Council District 1)

    CASE NO.      Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of Eric

    PZ 18-13         Bursott of River City Construction for the Catholic Diocese of Peoria, to obtain a Special Use 

                            in a Class R-3 (Single-Family Residential) District for Outdoor Recreation/Practice Fields for 

                            the properties identified as Parcel Identification Nos. 14-07-100-012, -013, -024, -025, -028 

                            & -029, with the following addresses 2607 W Willow Knolls Rd, N Villa Lake Dr & 7519 N 

                            Allen Rd, Peoria IL (Council District 5)

    CASE NO.       Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of 

     PZ 18-14         John Pappas to rezone property from a Class CG (General Commercial) District to a Class 

                            I1 (Industrial/Business Park) District and obtain a Special Use for a Towing and Impound Lot 

                            for the properties identified as Parcel Identification Nos. 18-03-332-028 (1023 NE Adams 

                            Street), 18-03-332-029 (1025 NE Adams Street), and 18-03-332-036 (1031 NE Adams 

                             Street), Peoria IL (Council District 1)

    CASE NO.       Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of Gary

    PZ 18-15         Zumwalt of Zumwalt and Associates, Inc, for Mark Wagner of Crossing Development, LLC, 

                            to obtain a Special Use in a Class R-3 (Single-Family Residential) District which amends 

                             Resolution 13-300 for a 12-Unit Apartment Building for the property identified as Parcel 

                             Identification No. 13-15-476-020, with an address of 5605 W Timberedge Drive, Peoria IL 

                             (Council District 4)

    CASE NO.        Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of 

     PZ 18-16          Robert Culp of Midwest Engineering and Associates Inc. for Peoria Public Schools District 

                             150, to rezone property from a Class R-3 (Single-Family Residential) District to a Class C-1 

                              (General Commercial) District, for a portion of the property (approximately 4.3 acres in the 

                              southwest corner of the property) located at 400 E War Memorial Drive (Parcel 

                              Identification Number 14- 28-276-001), and commonly known as Peoria Stadium, Peoria, 

                              Illinois (Council District 3).

    CASE NO.        Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of 

     PZ 18-17          Clara Forman of the Joseph Dream House to obtain a Special Use in a Class CN 

                              (Neighborhood Commercial) District for a Halfway House for the properties identified as 

                               Parcel Identification Nos. 18-17-153-009 and 18-17-153-033, with an address of 1010 S 

                               Blaine Street, Peoria IL. (Council District 1)

    CASE NO.         Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of the 

     PZ 18-A            City of Peoria to amend Appendix A, the Unified Development Code, relating to various text

                               amendments.

    CASE NO.          Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of 

      PZ 18-B           the  City of Peoria to amend Appendix A, the Unified Development Code, related to multi-   

                              family residential dwellings in office, commercial, and industrial zoning districts.
