Report: Robein spent $11,394 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Robein School District 85 is up 5 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Tazewell County school district spent $10,828 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,394 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 170 to 153.

Robein's spending in 2016-17 was 12 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
