Report: Fulton County spent $11,493 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Fulton County Community Unit School District 3 is up 8 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Fulton County school district spent $10,638 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,493 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 515 to 441.

Fulton County's spending in 2016-17 was 11 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
