Report: Limestone spent $10,814 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Limestone Community High School District 310 is up 0 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $10,806 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $10,814 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1125 to 1067.

Limestone's spending in 2016-17 was 17 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
