Report: Bartonville spent $7,374 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Bartonville School District 66 is up 9 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $6,735 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $7,374 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 267 to 300.

Bartonville's spending in 2016-17 was 43 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
