Report: El Paso Gridley spent $9,696 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at El Paso Gridley Community Unit School District 11 is down 6 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Woodford County school district spent $10,297 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $9,696 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1265 to 1249.

El Paso Gridley's spending in 2016-17 was 25 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
