Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Oehrlein School of Cosmetology

Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at Oehrlein School of Cosmetology, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $15,450 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Data shows 72 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 20 students received grants or scholarships totaling $72,555 and 30 students took out student loans totaling more than $165,565.

Including all undergraduates, 37 students used grants or scholarships totaling $130,219. Another 45 took out $299,255 in federal student loans.
