Spoon River College issued the following announcement on June 14.
The athletic department at Spoon River College is offering a two-day volleyball camp for those in grades 4 - 8 and one for those in grades 9 -12 at the Multi-Purpose Building on the Canton Campus.
The 4 - 8 grade camp will be Monday, July 23, and Tuesday, July 24. The 9 - 12 grade camp will be Monday, July 30, and Tuesday, July 31. Times for both camps are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on day one and from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on day two.
Cost of the camps are $30 and includes a camp t-shirt. There will be a lunch break on day one of each camp. Players have the option of bringing their own lunch or paying $5 for a lunch provided by the camp. Players also have the option of spending the night at the Snapper Villas for an additional $25 plus $5 for pizza.
The deadline to register is July 16 to guarantee a t-shirt, and can be done by visiting www.src.edu and downloading the registration packet located under Events on the home page. Please let the college know of any dietary needs or allergies your child needs when registering.
