Easton Rural Fire Protection District responded to 26 calls in 2017 - 13 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Easton Rural included 25 fires - eight structure fires and 17 other fires.

In all, the department saw $12,150 in fire loss - or about $486 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Easton Rural Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $69,121 in 2017.
