How much has Tremont CUSD 702 overspent over the past 10 years?

Spending and revenue data obtained for this analysis comes from the Illinois Local Education Agency Retrieval Network (ILEARN), which is part of the Illinois State Board of Education and collects data annually on school district financials.

Over the 10-year span, Tremont CUSD 702 reported 4.4 percent more revenue. At the same time, total spending went down 42.1 percent. The resulting deficit shrunk by 95.7 percent from 2008 to 2017.
