35 percent of applicants to Methodist College were admitted for fall 2017

At Methodist College, 53 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 88 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Peoria enrolled 681 students in fall 2017, including 675 in undergraduate and 6 in graduate programs, data shows. 26.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 35 percent of the 49 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 18 percent enrolled.
