City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Aug. 31.
Effective Sept. 4, the Public Works office will be closed for lunch from noon-1 p.m.
Also, effective Sept. 4, Public Works will no longer be receiving any kind of payments at 2232 E. Washington St. Payments will be taken at City Hall located at 401 W. Washington St.
