City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.
Come make sure your child's car seat is properly installed at the East Peoria Fire Department Central Station, 201 W. Washington St. from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Nationally-trained child passenger safety technicians will be available to educate caregivers on proper installation of child restraints and best practice guidelines. The car safety checks are free.
