Woodford County said "no" to both referendums on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The Fieldcrest CUSD 6 Question was voted against-"Shall the Board of Education of Fieldcrest Community Unit School District Number 6,Woodford, LaSalle, Livingston and Marshall Counties, Illinois, build and equip a school building located in Wenona,Illinois, demolish a portion of the existing Fieldcrest Middle School Building, build and equip a school building located in Minonk, Illinois, demolish the existing Fieldcrest High School Building, improve school sites and issue bonds of said School District to the amount of $29,000,000 for the purpose of paying the costs thereof?".
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 237 were in favor and 638 opposed.
The Village of Goodfield Question was voted against as well, "Shall the prohibition of the sale at retail of alcoholic liquor be continued in the Village of Goodfield, Illinois?.
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 118 were in favor and 190 opposed.
