Governor race: Republican Rauner wins voter tally in Wilmington Township

Bruce Rauner led Democrat JB Pritzker in votes cast in Wilmington Township for the gubernatorial race, according to the latest vote count.

Rauner appeared to outpace Pritzker by a margin of 19.3 percent on Tuesday in the township.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Bruce Rauner, won by a margin of 26.3 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Pat Quinn, who received 649 votes to Rauner's 1,146.
