Report: Pleasant Hill spent $8,862 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Pleasant Hill School District 69 is up 10.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $8,052 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,862 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 251 to 224.

Pleasant Hill's spending in 2017-18 was 33.6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
