Report: Riverview spent $7,727 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Riverview Community Consolidated School District 2 is down 19.4 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Woodford County school district spent $9,588 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $7,727 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 244 to 249.

Riverview's spending in 2017-18 was 42.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
