Report: Oak Grove spent $10,405 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Oak Grove School District 68 is up 27.6 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $8,157 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,405 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 372 to 277.

Oak Grove's spending in 2017-18 was 22 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
