Report: Stark County spent $10,881 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Stark County Community Unit School District 100 is up 6.4 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Stark County school district spent $10,224 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,881 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 786 to 727.

Stark County's spending in 2017-18 was 18.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
