Report: N Pekin-Marquette Heights spent $8,441 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at N Pekin-Marquette Heights School District 102 is up 17.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Tazewell County school district spent $7,210 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,441 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 692 to 574.

N Pekin-Marquette Heights's spending in 2017-18 was 36.7 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
