Administrators in Vit Community Unit School District 2 earn an average of $84,439 per year, ranking 710th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 15.6% higher than in 2014 and 9.3% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 21.3% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.
