City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Feb. 7.
Residents can help fill an East Peoria Police car with teddy bears for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center during the 13th Annual Teddy Bear Drive from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, February 15. The event will occur in the parking lot at Target, 480 W. Washington St., East Peoria. Kona Ice of Peoria will be on hand selling frozen treats.
The Teddy Bear Drive is presented by NASH FM 97.3 and Bob Lindsay Acura. The bears that are collected will be used for OSF pediatric patients.
