Washington home prices rise in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Washington rose by $3,700 while total sales decreased by 3.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $139,700 - a 2.7% increase over the $136,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in Washington in October 2017.

The median sales tax in Washington for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,527, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for October 2018.
