2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Woodford County?

There were 12 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Woodford County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows that 10 men and two women were released in Woodford County. Of the parolees, one was a veteran, and the median age was 35. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 57-year-old man convicted of homicide in 1994.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Warren G. Reed II. He was convicted of homicide in 1994 when he was 32 years old. He is now 57.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
