Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Woodford County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Woodford County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Woodford County were men. The median age of the parolees was 28. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 36-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Robert Yoder. He was convicted of a property crime in 2017 when he was 34 years old. He is now 36.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Woodford County municipality.
