CANTON CITY: Water Plant Repairs Result in Low Water Pressure

Waterdrop

Canton City issued the following announcement on July 18.

City water customers may have experienced low water pressure today. This was due to some water valve replacements being made at the Canton Water Treatment Plant. City officials did not foresee the repairs taking quite as long as they did, and the City would like to apologize for any inconvenience the low pressure may have caused. Public Utilities Director Joe Carruthers reported that the water pressure was about 10 to 12 pounds lower than it usually is, but all systems have now been returned to normal operation.
